ACRAN Acraflow Acoustic Louvres

ACRAN is the premier Acoustic Louvre manufacturer in Australia. We manufacture the largest range of acoustic louvres with over 100 designs available to suit any application.

With our regular acoustic testing regime our technical data is the most up to date. Acran acoustic louvres are tested at a maximum of 6 monthly intervals to ensure that the effects of any changes in raw materials is reflected in Acran's test data.

As we conduct all our testing in Brisbane we are able to ensure that the product performance is based upon Australian materials tested to Australian Standards.

Acoustic Louvres are designed allow air to pass through the a building fabric while achieving excellent guaranteed noise reduction.

Acoustic louvres are typically manufactured from galvabond to suit any opening size. Where required the acoustic louvres and can be assembled in a modular fashion.

ACRAN Louvres can be supplied in multiple finishes including plain galvabond, powder coated or painted.

ACRAN Acoustic Louvres can be also manufactured as a hinged or sliding doors. The doors are fitted to stiffened galvabond or zinc anneal frames and fitted with hardware as required for the individual applications.

The louvres are laboratory tested to Australian Standards in our own Acoustic Testing Laboratory.

If required, Acran can manufacture an acoustic louvre from other materials including 304 & 316 stainless steel to provide additional corrosion protection in harsh environments.

As with all Acran products, we employ our own installation staff familiar with the installation methods required to ensure acoustic integrity. Where required or preferred we can easily assemble a complete turnkey solution.

Should you have an application requiring specific acoustic performance please contact our office. We have an extensive range of test data for all our acoustic products and can provide additional options to suit your specific application.

ACRAN is Brisbane based and specialises in noise control and air movement solutions to all industries.

Our experience includes work in remote parts of the world including Africa and all parts of Asia and the Pacific.

Technical Data

All ACRAN acoustic louvres are subjected to regular acoustic testing in our acoustic testing facility to ensure their continued acoustic and airflow performance. ACRAN believes that consultants, contractors and end users must be confident the products they specify or use incorporate the changes in performance of base materials such as acoustic absorber Test data for all ACRAN acoustic louvres is less than 12 months old and incorporates the latest changes in materials of construction associated with improvements in thermal and environmental performance of the absorber which typically reduces the absorbers acoustic performance.

Construction Materials

Acoustic louvres can be manufactured from a wide range of materials including, but not limited to, galvabond, aluminum and stainless steel. Where louvres are to be installed in harsh environments ACRAN can tailor a solution to suit the relevant environment. All acoustic louvres are manufactured using inert, vermin proof and non combustible acoustic absorber. The absorber is retained using perforated metal to enhance the acoustic performance and once the absorber service life.

Finishes

Acoustic louvres can be constructed complete with a wide range of finishes including mill finish galvabond and stainless steel and powder coated galvabond and aluminium ACRAN's in house powder coating facility provides a high quality finish on our powder coated products. ACRAN's custom built coat up booth and curing oven ensures that louvres of all shapes and sizes can be coated as a complete unit where required.

Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning of ACRAN acoustic louvres is important in ensuring the louvres achieve their full life cycle. The louvres require different cleaning regimes depending in their location, materials of manufacture, surface finish and the general atmosphere in which they are installed.

Series 100
Series 100 Louvres

ACRAN Series 100 acoustic louvres are designed to provide good acoustic performance without excessive pressure drop. The louvres are 100mm deep and can easily be retrofitted in place of existing 75mm or 100mm deep non acoustic weather louvres.

Series 200

ACRAN Series 200 acoustic louvres are manufactured to provide excellent acoustic performance while not protruding into plant areas when installed in block work or typical lightweight purlin and girt wall systems. Series 200 louvres have similar acoustic performance to Colorbond wall cladding and hence provide a good option for increased ventilation without reducing the acoustic impact.

Series 400

ACRAN Series 400 acoustic louvres are 400mm deep and are suited to applications where there is a requirement for increased acoustic performance or reduced air pressure drop. The louvres blades are evenly spaced and provide and the blade profile is such that there is no line of sight through the louvres.

Series 600

ACRAN Series 600 Louvres are manufactured as a single unit and are 600mm deep. These louvres have a much higher acoustic performance with the option to adjust the acoustic performance in return for extremely low air pressure drop and higher face velocities.
